Exhibition Index of Touch in Apollo, Germany, 2026
This exhibition takes as its starting point the everyday traces, grain patterns, signs of wear, and physical distances that extend into visual representations of fallen trees. Broken branches, falling leaves, and exposed cross-sections are removed from their context, transposed into drawings, and rearranged. It is less about representation than about
reconstruction: scattered fragments connect through observation and repetition and unfold their meaning in their relationships to one another. Some traces remain visible, others elude detection. Accumulation and reordering thus become an investigation of subtle structures between material, memory, and perception.
